Office of the Vice-Provost, Curriculum and Planning
The Office of the Vice-Provost, Curriculum and Planning provides leadership in teaching, curriculum development, and experiential learning while supporting the Provost and Vice-President, Academic in strategic planning and institutional quality assurance. With oversight over Open Acadia, Career and Experiential Learning, and the growth of teaching and curriculum development, the Office advances evidence-informed, learner-centred teaching, strengthens digital and accessible learning supports, and champions compliance with provincial and regional requirements. Through these efforts, we foster innovation and inclusive excellence to ensure Acadia continues to offer transformative educational experiences.

Spotlight on Upcoming Teaching Initiatives
TA Training and Professional Development
The TA training program provides an opportunity for TAs to prepare for their assistantship and take part in professional development. The workshops are a worthwhile and fun experience for TAs, faculty and staff across campus.
TAs who attend three workshops during the TA Day and complete an Intro to TAing module on Moodle will be paid for their time (five hours) and will receive a certificate of completion for their TA training.
The TA Day and TA Training is sponsored by the Office of the Vice-Provost, Curriculum and Planning.

The Virtual Maple League Teaching and Learning Centre (V_MLTLC)
The Maple League is dedicated to building a network of teaching champions that will enhance learning and teaching for many members of our diverse communities. This network includes emerging leaders and novice practitioners as well as experienced teachers and leaders in each department and program to build networks of grassroots support and engagement.
