Spotlight on Upcoming Teaching Initiatives
TA Training and Professional Development Workshops
The TA training program provides the opportunity for TAs to gain professional development training by attending five hours of workshops (two hours of Intro to TAing workshop and three additional one-hour workshops) and completing a reflection paper. All participants will receive a certificate of completion and a badge that can be uploaded to LinkedIn. The workshops are a worthwhile and fun experience for TAs and faculty. Last year 12 units were represented at the workshops.
New this year - The Office of the Vice-Provost, Teaching and Learning Excellence will cover the cost for TAs to attend Intro to TAing with a workshop being offering for each faculty.
